Summary

Insigns was engaged to design, manufacture, and install all external and internal signage for two Amazon Fulfilment Centres — one in Cranbourne and one in Ravenhall. The project covered everything from large external building identification and directional signage to comprehensive internal wayfinding, safety, and operational signs, delivering a consistent, high-quality brand presence across both sites.

Project Overview

Amazon required complete signage packages for two of their major fulfilment centres in Victoria, each spanning vast operational areas and catering to high volumes of staff, visitors, and logistics traffic. Our task was to provide clear, functional, and visually consistent signage that met Amazon’s global brand guidelines while complying with Australian standards.

Scope of Works

External Signage:

Large-scale building identification signage for maximum visibility from main roads.
Directional signage for vehicle and pedestrian traffic management.
Safety and compliance signs for site entry points and loading areas.

Internal Signage:

Wayfinding systems to assist staff and visitors in navigating the expansive facilities.
Safety and operational signage to meet OH&S requirements.
Department and area identification signs, ensuring clarity in fast-paced environments.

Manufacture & Installation

All signs were manufactured in-house across our two production facilities, allowing for strict quality control and efficient production scheduling. Installation teams worked to tight deadlines, coordinating with site management to minimise disruption during the final stages of construction.

Outcome

Both fulfilment centres now feature clear, professional, and durable signage that supports safe operations, improves navigation, and strengthens Amazon’s brand presence.
