1. About this policy

This policy describes the cookies and browser storage used by the first public release of the Insigns website.

Optional analytics is not active in this release. The public website therefore does not ask visitors to make an analytics choice and does not display a “Manage cookies” control.

2. Necessary browser storage

Public website

Ordinary viewing of the public website does not set a first-party analytics cookie, store an analytics choice or create a project-attribution record in local or session storage.

Submitting a project enquiry does not require optional cookies or browser storage. The form sends the details you enter directly to the Insigns enquiry service when you choose to submit it.

Protected staff management area

The protected management area uses local and session storage for the sign-in tokens and short-lived security values needed to authenticate authorised staff. The Cognito sign-in service may also use strictly necessary cookies on its own authentication domain. This storage is used for access and security, not public-site advertising or optional analytics.

Blocking or deleting this necessary storage may prevent an authorised staff member from signing in or may end their management session. It does not affect ordinary viewing of the public website.

3. Optional analytics is off

The first public release is fixed to measurement mode “none”. Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity and Meta Pixel identifiers are blank, their activation authority is held, and the website security policy does not permit their scripts or data connections.

No optional analytics provider is loaded, no public-site analytics event is sent and no analytics or advertising profile is created by this release.

Any later activation requires a new controlled release, separate approval, an updated policy and a new consent-policy version before visitors can be offered an optional analytics choice.

4. Earlier optional storage

When a public page loads, this release removes the earlier Insigns analytics-choice and project-attribution keys if they are present and makes a best-effort attempt to clear source-known Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and Meta browser storage that is readable from the Insigns site.

The website cannot guarantee removal of storage controlled on a third-party domain. You can inspect, block or delete browser storage using your browser settings.

5. Enquiries and privacy

Submitting a project enquiry sends the information entered in the form to Insigns. This release does not add analytics attribution to the enquiry and does not send an analytics event after submission.
