Choose the right display for your message

An outdoor LED display, digital pylon and retail screen each serve a different purpose. Start with who needs to see the message, where they will see it and how often it will change. The display, support structure and installation can then be planned together.

An initial description and proposed location are enough to start. You do not need to choose a screen size or display specification before enquiring.

Discuss your digital signage

Choose the display around the message and the site.

A digital sign is a complete operating system: content, viewing conditions, hardware, structure, power, controls and future service all need to work together.

  • Purpose and content cadence
  • Viewing and environmental review
  • Power, data and structure
  • Controls and maintenance ownership
01

Outdoor LED displays

For messages viewed across a frontage or open space, start with viewing distance, approach angle and daylight conditions. These guide display size, pixel pitch and brightness. Resolve weather exposure, structure, power, data and maintenance access with the installation, and confirm the approval requirements for the site.

02

Digital pylons

Combine permanent site identification with a display for changing messages. Keep tenant names and directions readable, and agree the content area, brightness controls and update responsibility. The display needs to work with the pylon structure, electrical supply and future service access.

03

Retail screens and displays

Use screens for promotions, menus or information that changes regularly. Match the content to how long people have to read it, and check lighting, mounting and power at the proposed location. Agree who updates the screen, how content is approved and what operating and service information is needed at handover.

Start with the site, audience and content requirement.

Tell us the proposed location, who will see the display and what you want it to show. If available, include approximate viewing distance, indoor or outdoor use, power or data information and your preferred timing. Mention any existing structure or approvals. It is fine to leave technical specifications open for discussion.
