Our Story

Founded in Melbourne in 1975, Insigns began as a traditional signwriting studio—and over the past five decades, we’ve grown into one of Victoria’s most respected signage specialists .

Family-owned and operated, we combine decades of craftsmanship with modern fabrication. As our team grew—adding designers, registered builders, brand experts and qualified tradespeople—our in‑house capability expanded to handle every project stage: concept, planning, permits, manufacture and installation, all under one roof at our Braeside facility .

Today, backed by 100+ years of collective experience, Insigns partners with businesses across retail, construction, corporate and franchise sectors. Whether it's creating captivating wayfinding systems, illuminated sky signage, or LED video walls, our holistic approach ensures brand consistency, reliability and an exceptional final result every time .
