What is the difference between pylon and monolith signage? A pylon sign has a single support pole or a double support pole and tends to be suspended higher in the air. A monolith sign all poles are wrapped and, unlike a pylon, they are not visible so that the focus is on the unique and custom design from top to bottom.

At INSIGNS we are Registered Builders who specialise in the manufacture of Pylon and Monolith signage in Melbourne from small monolith signage, to large scale pylons, utilising various materials and lighting solutions.

Most types of pylon signage projects will require engineering, permits and require a registered builder to manufacture. At INSIGNS we have a network of qualified people to get even the biggest signs manufactured and installed.  We can assist you from design, construction drawings, engineering through to council approvals, foundations and installation.
